2. What data we process

The data you give us when you message us on WhatsApp, call us or email us: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address if you write by email, date and time of the service, pick-up place and destination, number of passengers and anything you add in your notes (for example, your flight number). We do not need any special-category data; please do not include it in your messages.

3. The boarding pass on the website

The form on the home page only prepares a WhatsApp message on your own device. This website does not send or store what you type: we only receive the data if you decide to send the message from WhatsApp.

4. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We do not use your data to send you advertising and we do not make automated decisions about you.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months at most. Data about completed services is kept for as long as necessary and then for the legal periods: generally 4 years for tax purposes and 6 years for commercial purposes in the case of invoices.

6. Who can access your data

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law (for example, with the Spanish Tax Agency). Our website hosting provider and our accountants may access it solely to provide their services to us. When you message us on WhatsApp, the service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own terms.

7. International transfers

WhatsApp may process data outside the European Economic Area. Meta Platforms participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google LLC, which also participates in that framework, receives your browser's IP address. More information in the Cookie policy.

8. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@taxicabtenerife.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. If needed to verify your identity, we will ask you for an identity document.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
